Make a passport or visa photo
Pick a size, frame your face in the oval, and export a print-ready photo. Everything happens in this browser tab and nothing is uploaded.
How it works
Official photo requirements are fiddly: an exact size in millimetres or inches, a specific resolution, and the face positioned just so. This tool has presets for common documents (US visa and passport, Schengen, UK and India) and produces a correctly sized image plus a printable sheet.
Pick a preset, choose your photo, then frame your face inside the oval guide using drag and zoom. On export, the crop is rendered at the exact pixel size for that document’s size and DPI. A print sheet lays several copies on a 4×6 so you can print at a photo kiosk or at home and cut them out.
It all runs in your browser; your photo is never uploaded. Automatic background replacement is not included yet: shoot against a plain, light wall for best results.
How to use it
- 1 Choose your photo, shot against a plain, evenly lit light-coloured wall.
- 2 Pick the document preset (US visa, Schengen, UK or India).
- 3 Frame your face in the oval guide using drag and zoom.
- 4 Download the sized photo, or the print sheet with several copies.
Good to know
- US visa/passport is 2×2 in (600×600 px at 300 DPI); Schengen is 35×45 mm.
- Print the sheet at actual size (no scaling) and cut along the edges.
- Background replacement isn’t automatic yet, use a plain background.
- iPhone HEIC photos are supported alongside JPEG and PNG.
